Wir fotografieren Menschen, Männer und Frauen, Landschaft, Kunst und Musik, gutes Essen und Vintage. (Schlicht all das Schöne, was unsere Welt zu zeigen hat.) Es geht nicht darum, viel Geld zu verdienen. Es geht darum, Schönheit und Freiheit zu vermitteln. Die Betrachter können die Kunstwerke mit nach Hause nehmen.
We photograph people, men and women, landscapes, art and music, good food and vintage. (Simply everything beautiful that our world has to show.) It’s not about making a lot of money. It’s about conveying beauty and freedom. Viewers can take the works of art home with them.

Brigitte Bauhoff
Bereits während ihrer Studienzeit im Berlin der frühen 80ziger Jahre entdeckte Brigitte Bauhoff das Thema „Streetart“ für sich. Die Faszination für „Straßen-Kunst“ ist seit dieser Zeit kontinuierlich gewachsen und hat sich zu einer Leidenschaft entwickelt.
Mindestens einmal im Jahr reist sie und ihr Mann gezielt in europäische Städte, um auf fotografische Spurensuche zu gehen.
Ein besonderes Augenmerk von Brigitte Bauhoff liegt dabei auf die Darstellung von Frauen – dem Rollenbild von Frauen in der Streetart und den Werken von Künstlerinnen.
Auf diese Weise entstand über die Jahrzehnte eine umfangreiche Sammlung von „Streetart-Girls“ in ihrem Archiv.
Brigitte Bauhoff discovered street art while she was still a student in Berlin in the early 1980s. Her fascination with “street art” has grown continuously since then and has developed into a passion.
At least once a year, she and her husband travel to European cities in search of photographic evidence.
Brigitte Bauhoff pays particular attention to the portrayal of women – the role of women in street art and the works of female artists.
Over the decades, this has resulted in an extensive collection of “street art girls” in her archive.
Uli Bormuth
Als gelernter Chemielaborant erwachte die Leidenschaft zur Fotografie mit dem eigenen SW-Labor, und wurde durch die Streifzüge durch die Fotogalerien in Berlin in den 80ziger Jahren befeuert.
Aus dieser Zeit stammt auch die Begeisterung für Streetart in allen Facetten sowie die Street-Fotografie. Auf den Spuren des Bauhaus und der Surrealistischen-Fotografie der 30ziger Jahre kam dann die experimentelle Fotografie hinzu.
Seit 2015 organisiert er in der C7-Galerie in Mannheim regelmäßig Ausstellungen. Die C7-Galerie versteht sich nicht als kommerzielle Galerie, sondern als ein Projektraum für FotografInnen und Fotografen.
As a trained chemical laboratory assistant, his passion for photography was awakened by his own black-and-white laboratory and fueled by his explorations of Berlin’s photo galleries in the 1980s.
His enthusiasm for street art in all its facets and street photography also dates back to this period. Following in the footsteps of the Bauhaus and surrealist photography of the 1930s, he then added experimental photography to his repertoire.
Since 2015, he has been organizing regular exhibitions at the C7 Gallery in Mannheim. The C7 Gallery does not see itself as a commercial gallery, but rather as a project space for photographers.
Lothar Schillak
Lothar Schillak ist promovierter Meeresbiologe und Fotograf. Während seines Studiums hat er mehrere Semester lang das Fach wissenschaftliche Fotografie belegt. Sie war auch integraler Bestandteil seiner gesamten beruflichen Laufbahn. Seit mehr als 20 Jahren beschäftigt er sich zunehmend mit den künstlerischen Aspekten dieses Mediums. Mit seinem wissenschaftlich-genauen Blick versucht er die Ästhetik des Sichtbaren hinter der Oberfläche der Erscheinung zur Geltung zu bringen. Seine Fotografien fordern auf, genau hinzusehen, den Dingen auf den Grund zu gehen und sie offenbaren erst auf den zweiten Blick, worum es sich handelt. Wie bei Moderner Kunst braucht das Auge Zeit, das Spiel der Farben und Formen in seinen Fotografien zu deuten. Keine seiner Fotografien wird künstlerisch nachbehandelt.
Als Fotograf arbeitet Lothar Schillak vor allem im Bereich “künstlerische Fotografie“ mit den Themen “Farben der Erde“, “Art in Nature“, Graffiti und im Bereich Ultra-Makrofotografie von Insekten. Darüber hinaus hat verschiedene Dokumentation im In- und Ausland erstellt. Er hat sein Atelier in Süddeutschland und präsentiert seine Arbeiten mit eigenem Logo auf seiner website: www.tirages.org
Lothar Schillak holds a doctorate in marine biology and is a photographer. During his studies, he took several semesters of scientific photography. It has also been an integral part of his entire professional career. For more than 20 years, he has been increasingly involved with the artistic aspects of this medium. With his scientifically precise eye, he attempts to bring out the aesthetics of the visible behind the surface of appearances. His photographs invite the viewer to look closely, to get to the bottom of things, and only reveal what they are at second glance. As with modern art, the eye needs time to interpret the interplay of colors and shapes in his photographs. None of his photographs are artistically retouched.
As a photographer, Lothar Schillak works primarily in the field of “artistic photography” with the themes “Colors of the Earth,” “Art in Nature,” graffiti, and ultra-macro photography of insects. In addition, he has created various documentaries in Germany and abroad.
